Leadership 4 Service
HOBY Alumni truly put their service leadership learning into action after the seminar concludes. Each year, HOBY alumni are challenged to complete 100 hours of service to their communities. These service hours are a tangible way for our alumni to apply their passion and leadership skills toward making a positive impact. The L4S challenge gives recognition to all HOBY alumni who complete at least 100 hours of service each year through the awarding of The President’s Volunteer Service Award. Service hours are logged on HOBY’s L4S website, and recognition is given to those who meet our challenge each year. In addition, we recognize any alum who has served and logged at least 4,000 hours over their lifetime with the prestigious President’s Call to Service Award.
Over 5,000,000 service hours have been logged by HOBY alumni since 1998, and that number grows as HOBY alumni log 60,000+ hours of service each year.
